The Do 1 Thing Challenge was the inaugural challenge for The SnarkyFit Project. And essentially the reason behind why The SnarkyFit Project exists at all!
It came out of a challenge I found myself personally facing a few years back: knowing I needed to make changes for my health and wellbeing, and being completely overwhelmed by the thought of overhauling my nutrition, physical and mental health all the same time.
So I decided not to do it all at the same time.
I decided to pick one focus area. (Physical Health)
But the idea of starting a whole program was scary and I felt so weak and worn down that I didn’t want to fail at something. So instead, I made a list of things I could do that would “count” towards my goal of working on physical health. And every day, I did “1 Thing” off that list.
It gave birth to the phrase “Just do the Thing.” Which you will see throughout The SnarkyFit Project.
It worked.
So now, I have this amazing opportunity to share my process with you. I’ve gone back figured out my exact thought process, and I want to send it to you.
Why?
Because I want people to feel GOOD about making changes. The changes themselves are not always comfy, and it often takes effort — that’s why the mental piece is so important.
